Ball Gown

A fitted bodice above a full, formal skirt

A structured bodice meeting a dramatically full skirt at the natural waist — the most formal and most photographed shape we make.

The ball gown is the atelier’s heaviest construction. The skirt takes several metres of cloth and usually an internal support layer, so the shape holds itself rather than depending on the wearer. It is the traditional choice for weddings, debutante balls, and black-tie galas.

Who it suits

Anyone wanting maximum formality and a defined waist. The volume conceals the lower body almost entirely.
