The journey
How it works
From first idea to the parcel at your door — what happens at each step, and what we need from you.
Designing your dress
- 01
Pick a starting point
Begin from an occasion, a silhouette, or a sketch of your own. All three lead to the same atelier — it is only a question of how you already think about the dress.
- 02
Choose the details
Hem length, sleeve style, back, fabric and colour. Each option explains how it will actually look and what it adds to the price, so you are never picking from a name alone.
- 03
See it in seconds
Your choices become a photograph of the finished dress, front and back. Not a sketch and not a mood board — a render of the garment as it would hang.
- 04
Talk it through with Pia
Ask what suits you, think out loud, change your mind. Pia answers in words when you are exploring and redraws the dress when you ask for a change — so brainstorming never costs you the design you already like.
- 05
Send your measurements
A standard Australian size, or your own measurements for a closer fit. Add any notes our tailors should know: a longer torso, a preference for more room through the hip.
In the atelier
A tailor reads it
Before anything is cut, a tailor checks the design for construction and fit and comes back to you about anything that needs a decision.
You approve the quote
We confirm the final design and price in writing. The balance is payable at this point, and nothing is made until you say yes.
Made and posted
Your dress is cut and sewn to your measurements and shipped to your door, usually within three weeks of confirmation.
